As a caregiver since the age of 5-years-old, Ezio Lucido has lived-experience in the area of mental health spanning more than 3 decades. When his older brother Jerry was struck with an early-onset Schizophrenia diagnosis at the age of 12, both of their lives profoundly changed forever.Together and against-the-odds, Ezio and Jerry have built a successful life in Northern, California. Having overcome significant barriers, the brother's have learned valuable life lessons they hope will help others in their own trials.
Ezio's personal mission to enact positive change in mental health began for him as a film maker in 1997. It was then that the intention of sharing Jerry's story was born. As a writer/director/producer, Ezio's projects have since reached audiences totaling more than 100 million people in viewership, having worked with such prolific brands as Dodge and JVC.
Today, as the Founder and CEO of a marketing agency in its 23rd year, Ezio works to continue improving Jerry's quality of life and that of others. Believing in the opportunity for people to live independent and empowered lives regardless of their diagnosis, his principles, tools and methods have helped many with mental health challenges maintain successful careers within his company and beyond.Currently, Ezio is authoring a book on his lived-experiences due for release in Early 2020.
