A BIG BANG

In 1985, Jerry was a healthy, twelve-year-old boy with an affinity for the Cosmos. On this day, Jerry's journey facing a life-limiting diagnosis of severe, early-onset-schizophrenia began.

Jerry's younger brother, Ezio (pictured left) became Jerry’s primary care-giver alongside his mother. They continue to look after Jerry to this day.

THE VISION
While Ezio was a Highschool senior, Jerry and Ezio made a pact to tell Jerry's story someday as a motion picture.

It was at this time that the original treatment for the film was created.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

MORE THAN A STORY
Ezio began writing "Jerry of Jupiter" the screenplay and conceived the movement now known as, The Re-Mind Project.

With Jerry by Ezio's side, Ezio would write thousands of script pages to merge Jerry's heart and mind around the actual events into a cohesive narrative.

AN ONGOING STRUGGLE
On this day, Jerry nearly passed away from the adverse effects of stigma, prompting Ezio to begin filming and capturing Jerry more intently.

After returning home from the hospital, Jerry and Ezio continued their quest to finish his film in time for the world to witness Jerry see it.
THROUGH THE YEARS

Surviving numerous close-calls where Jerry would be returned to the mental institution or worse, Ezio and Jerry continue to work on the dream of telling his story together.

While every day is a struggle, the dream of the film and the opportunity to share his truth keeps Jerry going.

VALIDATING EVIDENCE
Ezio discovers new, validating evidence of Jerry’s unfortunate circumstances in 1985.

He incorporates the new evidence into the screenplay, finally completing an 8-year writing journey.
TODAY
As the journey continues, so does the care for Jerry.

Jerry seeing his story told will be the ultimate triumph. It will show the world that the challenges of Mental Health need not deter the positive impact a loving heart can make for others.
